Back on track?

Thankfully, a couple of nights ago a friend of mine was wondering which site I used for my blog. Truth be told, it reminded me "Oh yeah! I have a blog!"  I feel a moral obligation to keep up with the blog until I get my CCNA at least!  It may be a misplaced sense of responsibility but I'm going to give it another go.

So, it has been an interesting few months.  I think the big change in my life is that I got married.  We had a small outside (but due to rain had to be moved inside) wedding out in Texas Country and it was nice to finally settle down.  We have been dating for nearly seven years and engaged for nearly two.  My my my, how time just seemed to fly.

CCENT was passed with flying colors.  I may have missed a couple of questions but did surprisingly well.  Well, maybe not so surprisingly, I admit I way over studied.  But, your supposed to do that I think.  This was completed in November.

I wouldn't say I took December off from my studies, but I was definitely distracted.  Loads of stuff to do between the holidays, events to attend, and the aftermath of everything else.  Work itself has been going well.  Though, 3rd shift is wearing down on me.  But, the CCNA is just around the corner so much be focused.

What I like to do for each test is just plan out how I will study, just in case I need a little bit of direction for myself.

Step 1: Watch CBT videos, quick overview minimal notes - DONE
Step 2: Re-watch videos, in-depth, working along with lab, taking notes
Step 3: Read Cisco CCNA ICND2, taking notes
Step 4: Complete Practice Test
Step 5: Redo Practice test, look up wrong answers, redo until consistantly score over 90%
Step 6: Take test!  Aiming for March 1st

Ok, I'll post any update and progress soon!
