Studying for the CCNA has ramped up to 10 and it feels good to be messing with routers and switches again. I'm doing a number of labs a night and just about to finish up configuring switches for VLANS and VTP and routers for inter-vlan routing. Next up will probably be focusing on some of the routing protocols and VLSM.
Aside from studying, Thursdays are always a good night for me. I come in an hour later so I'm fully rested. Mondays are pretty good since I've come literally, the oldest 28 yr old I know. Dinner at around 6, in bed by 10. Tuesdays are a little harder since I'm still tired from the shift...Wednesday nights being the most challenging. But Thursdays are my Fridays. It is that weekend energy and extra hour that is just so awesome.
But here is what some people don't understand. Sleeping during the day is not the same as sleeping at night. It seems less restful, easier to wake up, harder to fall back asleep, if someone knocks on the door or my neighbors door the dog goes apeshit. Not to mention, we live on a fairly busy street in Houston so I am always one good honk away from waking up.
Anyway, just wanted to give a quick update and will keep this blog updated as much as I can. See you next time...
